The short version

What we collect

Cookies and similar tools

The first time you visit, we ask before anything from Google loads. "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Choose" are equally easy, and nothing is turned on until you pick. Change your mind any time with , also in the footer of every page.

If you allow analytics, we record things like which pages you view, which buttons you tap (such as "Book a free audit" or our phone number), and when an audit request is sent. We never send your name, phone number, email or notes to Google. If you allow advertising, Google Ads learns that a visit from one of our ads led to a booked audit. We turn off ad personalization, so we don't use it to show you ads elsewhere. Google handles this data under its privacy policy, and you can also block Google Analytics everywhere with Google's opt-out add-on.

Our team's own tools, such as our dashboard, also use browser storage to keep team members signed in.

How we use it

Calls and texts

If you give us your phone number when you book or contact us, we may call or text you about your request, sometimes using automated tools. We don't send marketing texts without your permission. How often we text depends on your request. Reply STOP to any text from us and we'll stop texting you, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. See our Terms for more about texts.

We don't share mobile numbers or text-message consent with anyone for their marketing. Your text-message opt-in and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties. The providers that carry our messages handle them only to deliver them.

Who helps us run things

We don't sell personal information. We use a few service providers, who handle information only to provide their service to us:

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a new owner if our business is sold or merged, who would be bound by this policy.

When we build for a client

Our dashboards and automations handle our clients' customer information, such as names and phone numbers for booking reminders. We handle it only to provide the services, following the client's instructions. The client's own privacy policy covers how they use it.

Your choices and rights

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we keep advertising cookies off automatically, and the cookie choices show that. We treat the signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your information. You can still choose whether to allow analytics.

How long we keep it

We keep audit requests, client records and outreach notes as long as we need them for the work, our records and our legal obligations, then delete them. Google Analytics keeps visit data for no more than 14 months. Cookie-free visit counts are kept only as totals. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, the database that holds audit requests is locked so only our team can read it, and access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Children

Our site and services are for businesses. They aren't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

When we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll ask first.
